FS/FT: 99 VW Passat 1.8T wagon (NJ)

here's the deal, the car does not start, it needs the VW programmer to do a Throttle body Adaptation (TBA) reset. It's my friend's car, he bent the valves in the head (very common for the 5 valve heads), so we got another head and swapped in, but I had disconnected the battery and you cannot do that with these cars or you have to do a TBA reset and I dont have the tool.
He wants to sell the car as is or trade for a reliable commuter civic or integra.
will take $2000 as is.
has 93k miles, very clean in and out and has leather seats.

Bump for you. I sold a '99 Cabrio through auction after being unable to sell if through conventional means.
You might try VWVortex.com regional classifieds. There's also a VAG-COM diagnostic forum there where you may be able to find someone local to you who can do the reset.
