How to integrate Ipod connection to stock 1998 headunit?
Hey guys,
I was wondering if you guys had some ideas how to pull this off?
I found a site that claims to be able to pull this off, heres the link to the box/connection.

Anyone ever use this? How does it work? I am guessing there is a sub harness frmo the stock harness to connet to the box and then for it to reconnect to the stock headunit?
Anyone have any other links? This is kinda pricey at 120, but i guess worth it.
I rock a Prelude headunit in my beater. This is what i am using it for.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That's definitely a waste of money. For the same price you can buy a brand new head unit that has a direct connection for the iPod.
You can connect an iPod to any unit with A/V plugs in the back, but you can't control it with the stereo. Otherwise, ask in the audio section of this site, they would know better.
Agreed, for $120 you might as well spend a little more and get an Alpine headunit that can plug directly into the iPod (<$200). You can control the iPod right from the headunit, and the HU should sound better than the stocker.

Anyone else try this? I might just say F'it and get this connection to run off my ipod.
