I've honestly thought about doing that to one, too.
I've even been keeping an eye out for a dirt-cheap one.
I'd love to know if the 4wd can be made to work with a B-series... Anyone?
f*ck yeah!

There was a lot of talk about after the Rosen Wagon was comleted, but most poeple think the 4wd componet could not handel a B16a, b18c , the rear drive sahft is very thin, the transfer case is also small and not very heavy duty.

just grab a CRV, which came with a b-series, and 4wd (even 5spd) versions, dump it, add vtec head and enjoy

or simply take whole CRV drive train and weld it up to a EK hatch and be done

yeah I heard that CRVs were based on the civic platform anyways...if that means it would be easy to put a CRV drive train on a civic I dont know ..but it might be
the transmissions won't bolt to the b-series. the transfer case and the rear diff would have to be upgraded also, as they won't take much over 200 hp. I would like to hack in a drivetrain from the crv, but don't have the cash to experiment on that right now.
ummm guys its a jdm type r motor. and it is rather quick when it runs
This should turn the car into a rather formidable race car considering it will weigh less than 2000 lbs. As for suspension, we will be using Ground Control coilovers with KYB AGX shocks. Wheel and tire combo consists of 15x7 Kosei k1's and Toyo Proxes RA-1 race tires. More to come, hope to see you there."
