Default Hydro To Cable Tranny ?s

Ok ive got a 97 semi built gsr thats going into a del sol next season that im racing on the dirt oval track. I mainly run in 2nd gear so ive been thinking about swapping out the gsr tranny for a b16 or better yet just swap out the 2nd gears since ive found a whole b16 gearset pretty cheap. Another option i just came across was a guy wanting to trade his jdm b16 lsd cable tranny for a hydro tranny. Now i planned to put an lsd in my tranny also so would this deal be worth it, any ups and downs? Any modifications i gotta make to any of the mounts or the flywheel? Can i just run a cable to my pedal? Throw me your opinion if anyone has down this. Remember its going into a dirt track oval car.

you can install a cable trans to hydro conversion kit
i don't know if hasport still makes this kit or not?
worked well on my brother's 94 integra when i had installed it
this might be an option you may wanna look in to

you just re-use all of your hydro parts.
a slight re-shape/bend of the slave steel tube line to the flex line, iirc.
it comes with a template to drill a hole in the cable trans arm and your slave now sits vertical and actuates the release arm along with some other parts in the kit.

just going from memory, did this 4+ yrs ago

swapped a b17 and trans into my brother's 94 integra

me personally, i dont like the stock lsd. kinda weak. and if you break the lsd, you gotta find a ring gear because the ring gear is built into the lsd.

but your dirt oval track racing, im a drag racer
