the car is throwing an 8, and a 16.

i know what the codes mean, one is for fuel injector, the other is for tdc position.

thats what gets me, is it pointing out a sensor? a cam sensor? crank sensor? is there a tdc sensor?

its not my car, its a friends. i know how to fix it, i just need to know what to replace.

and to reset the ecu, is it just undo the battery cables for 10 seconds, then put them back on?

 

tdc code is for the tdc sensor inside the distributor

just some fyi on that tdc sensor.. dont try to replace the actual sensor like i did. i think its calibrated into the distributor. i had a know working dizzy and tried replaced the guts on it to save 300 bucks on a new one. i adjusted that sensor prob 50 times with same code. borred friends dizzy and vanished. i dont mind spending money on a part if it needs to be replaced, but i must have replaced my dizzy once a year it seems like. quite annoying.
