This is the 2006 Acura Advance Sedan concept car.

The first Keen Edge Dynamic.

Below it is the car as it was finally released. It's interesting how some of the design elements remained and can be seen in the final product.

I thought you'd have a suppressed gag reflex by now.

 

I still get the reaction from seeing gruesome and grizzly scenes of horror and disgust.

 

Once an ugly duck, always an ugly duck.

 

Look how the eyebrows on the front of the 2006 fenders eventually morphed into the 09-10 design with the brake ducts.

 

Look how the thin some what angular grill piece eventually morphed into buck teeth.

 

so what is the point of this grill?

 

 

Many of the concept car's rear design elements also remained in the final design, although at first glance they seem radically different.

 

The crease in the rear deck and the angle of the trunk lid opening were reversed for the final design.

i actually like the style of the new TL, but that concept made me shudder when i saw it

I would love the car if it wasn't for that gaudy factory grill.

Although, I do like the car alot with a paint matched grill.

I'd take a TL with the ron jon grill any day!

 

You're just trying to show a more outrageous version of the production model so we can accept and cope with the ugliness it currently is!
