I.D. a ZC cam
i have a zc engine that went bad on me, well i cant find the tyipical code for the head for ZC's, i have a pm3-13 head, but its on a zc bottom block. is there any way to I.D. the cam as a ZC?

PM3-5 date stamp = 89 from spare craigslist head supposedly from 89 crx si

aw sweeet. where did u find that at. i tried google nd a few other web sites nd couldnt find a list like that, i know in ur build thread u had a zc head and cam to correct? did u i.d. it from the head code or does the cam have a different look or lobe to it?
does the cam have a funny lobe at the far end near the distributor?
if you think the head came with the ZC block (and its single cam) and the funny lobe exists, its originally carburated. if it looks completely normal, then it was a MPFI SOHC ZC.
treat it like an A6 and you cant go wrong. what went bad?
