I drove over some hard packed snow that hit the undercarriage, continued to drive it home with no problems...
The next morning I tried to start the car. I turned the key and the entire electrical system pulsed twice then it caught on the third time. Before moving the car out of park I noticed that the dash lights were all wonky.

fuel gauge blank
odometer was blank
mpg was blank
key light stayed on
abs light stayed on
maybe some other funky dash display issues also

I turned off the car, gave it 30 seconds or so and tried it again. When turning the key all the dash displays pulse on and off with the sound of the ignition turning over. It started again and this time I put it in reverse to get out of the tiny garage. The power steering was out.

Any ideas for me?

Check your fuses.

 

Your batt is bad. Not the IMA batt the reg one. My GFs Hybrid did the same thing.
