Default Skunk2 Throttle body sticking ?

hey guys this is my first honda ..yay .. its a 99 civic with a h22 from a 01 prelude sh
so heres the deal
the car runs funny .. like it will idle at 600-700 and run like **** and will have a check engine light on which is the IAC .. i replaced that and nothing changed
well heres the funny part
I can start the car and hold the gas down and the car will idle at 1300 or so and run perfect no codes nothing
is my throttle messed up ?
its a skunk2 and ive heard bad things ?

Get a stock one and replace it.

But it sounds like your TPS maybe out of wack.

plug in something in the obd2 (i used mac tools code scanner) that will show you the throttle position. then take out the two screws out of the tps and keep rotating it until you get 0% throttle position. you may not beable to bring it all the way down to 0, i was stuck at 10% and was able to lower it almost to 4%. drives nice now. my idle is at 1000 and it has alot of rumble too. im using the skunk2 pro series intake manifold

also make sure you dont have bubbles in your coolant from taking out the lines out of the stock throttle body

Don't forget to set your base idle speed (I'm assuming you can do this on the s2 tb's like the stock ones). Unplug the IACV and the car should still idle at around 500rpm iirc (make sure you've jumped the 2P service connector first).
