Timing belt and water pump replacement?
Hi all I was looking for some advice on if I should replace my water pump and timing belt on my 99 accord 4cyl vtec with about 109000 miles. It isn't giving me any trouble but just thinking more along the line of preventive maintenance. What do you guys advise. Thank you
if you can do it yourself its a wise choice. could even see a slight increase in power. make sure you set timing before you remove parts. makes it so much easier to do. would also change your vc gasket while you are at it. just my thought process.
you could also change your balance shaft belt??.. i dont have them in my motor at all (built F23).. but im not sure.. if someone else wants to chime in on that one???
i just know you will be right there when you do a belt.
