I'm having trouble figuring out why the front of my hood sits up just a little bit more that what other Integra's. my car is a 95 but i put a 98 and up front on it. i can't figure out if its the bumper that makes it look like that or if its the hood. every integra that i look at it seems that the hood just follows from the noise of the bumper and up, mine it kinda bumps up maybe about a good 1/4 inch, well just a little bit than normal. what do you all think?
is it up or out? if the car has been wrecked, the radiator/bumper support could be mangled and cause the front bumper cover to be a bit too far back or close to the fenders. in this case, the hood sticks out over the bumper cover a bit.

I have the exact same problem for my 91 Da the hood doesn't line up with the bumper it overlaps it a little and i cant figure out what the problem is, I feel your pain.
Try installing another oem hood and see if that still happens. Consider lowering down the hood latch; it could actually be lowered just a little. Also, if your car has been in a previous front end collusion then it is possible that your frame/radiator support arm/fenders are slightly out of place or slightly different from stock settings even after a repair. My uncle hit a deer with my car and bent the radiator support arm. I haven't repair it yet but no oem hood can close all the way on my car. The only hood that will fit was the hood that was on my car when the deer was hit. I guess that hood was bent to the perfect angle so that it will close and fit properly but it looks ugly though lol.

yea i was in a very minor hit. it kinda looks like the bottom of the latch is bent forward a little. but not much. should i take it to a repair shop and see what they could do? or would they be doing the same **** as i am?
its possible you have some minor frame damage, my is also like that as well. When i bought it, it had been hit minor in the front drivers side, this wound up pushing the fender in some, with some adjustment of the fender, bumper, and hood, we were able to even it out somewhat, but its never gona be perfect unless you pull the frame back to spec. Sometimes its just not worth it for that small amount.
Below is a pic of my situation although I am sure your problem is not the same as mine. Please ignore the dirty car and the saps that are on my hood lol. This is the result after hitting a deer. The circles indicate the dents/miss-alignments of my hood. The arrows indicate the extra spacing as a result from hitting the deer and the effect of a bent radiator support arm. Now you can see why a perfect OEM hood will not fit according to my damage.

yea ILS_09, thats similar to what mine is like right now. i did have a little fender bender, but not that bad. i'll probably have someone look at it and get it to specs or close to it. it kinda bugs me a little. nice teg though, i use to have that front in on mine.
Yeah, I can barley tell a difference. As for me, not so lucky. If you look closely along the side where my hood lining meets the side of the fender, you can see that there is a pretty big spacing there in comparison to the passenger side. This is why I didn't bother fixing it because I'm afraid that there is more damage than just a bent radiator support arm. I don't even know how much it's going to cost to repair all this. Probably in the thousands with new fenders, bumper, hood, and radiator support arm as well as the supporting accessories underneath it and a new fresh paint. Thinking about this, I think in future if I do ever decide to fix this, a JDM front seems to be the most reasonable choice for my fix.
not necessarily, i didnt need to replace my fender at all, unless they are physically damaged beyond repair, which it doesnt appear so, you shouldnt need to replace them.
Yeah that's true, my driver side fender use to be pretty bad and uneven. I got it align the best I can by using a rubber mallet. Even so, the physical appearance of it still displeases me. I might just change out only the driver side fender.
