Heater Core Replacement
My buddys S2K is low on coolant. We checked the engine bay and no leaks. The head gaskets seems to be good too. The car has 70k on it now. I started to look around some more and noticed his carpet was wet!!! I think its the heater core
Does anyone know how long this takes. Or has anyone had this problem before.

i have not seen any have a heater core problem. it does call for 6.6 hrs on alldata to do the job. if you are smelling coolant through the vents or the carpet is getting wet with coolant, then it is definitely the heater core. make sure that the carpet getting wet is not water from the ac system. the job will most likely include taking the dash apart. good luck.
