I have an 89 crx dx that needs repaired. i need a new front bumper, bumper reinforcement, passenger side fender, than the headlight, corner light, and turn signal set up. instead of ordering parts, i found a 90 crx si for sale for 600 dollars that has all the parts i need, but i know there are different things with the 90 bumpers. i know if you switch a bunch of the parts over it could work, but what exactly(EXACTLY) would i need to do, to get the bumper, bumper reinforcement, and fender off of the 90 si and onto my 89 dx. Please help. I've asked around, and some say yes with question, and others give complete random answers. thank you.

 

to get it off, unbolt it and bolt it onto your car.

you will need the following parts to make it all work right:
front bumper
front bumper reinforcement
front bumper lights
front lip spoiler (stock, if its still there)
fender molding (both sides)
door molding (both sides)
rear 1/4 panel molding (both)
rear bumper


optional parts would be tail lights and stock front lip. other than that everything else is the same.

 

also since you need to replace your headlight i would do both sides, you will also need to grab the corner lights and the small tabs on the fender where the corner light slides onto.

If he's swapping the headlights don't the buckets need to be swapped also? Can't remember

 

Pretty sure the buckets (light mounts) are needed too.
