You need a defouler asap...also what header are you running??? Sound like your header didn't clear your front sway bar so check that as well. Make sure your bolts are properly torqued. Your car sounds like its running in limp mode which explains why its running horrible...

While your at it you might want to upgrade your Engine Mounts and Sway Bar if you haven't. I am running a Megan RH...and i had to purchase a new Primary o2 as well as extend my secondary and put a defouler on my secondary. I upgraded my engine mounts to Innovative poly and the car handles and responds so much better, but get your codes read and let us know and we can go from there...

Ahh well i recommend both to be honest. Just a heads up your Primary is going to cost $180 minimum. And DO NOT i repeat DO NOT buy anything that is Denso or OEM. Anything else will not lost very long and also do not buy a used one. Just look on CRSX for the defouler trick or you can look up a BLOX defouler thats what i got for like $12...

scratch that its not limp mode . i was on limp mode a while back but thats because there wasnt a certain amount of A/F getting to me so it engaged limp mode where it would let me rev past 4500 i beleive. turns out i forgot to my gas cap at the gas station ROFL! just threw a new one back on and voila! problem solved .

When he downshifts it could be a motor or tranny mount or OR the header clearence .

I think you have an air escape somewhere.
