I'll be doing a turbo build based off of what will probably be the SRT (Swift Racing Technology) Turbo kit (~350whp/10psi)
First of all, here are my goals:
Will be a sleeper, therefor noise and external look needs to be as close to stock as possible.
It will be a DD, about 70% highway.
I'll be editing this first post and posting pictures as I get the items.
INSTALLED
Hondata Intake Manifold Gasket
SRT Turbo kit w/ sc4431e turbo
38mm Tial wastegate
Corsport cable shifter bushing
Corsport shifter base bushings
Competition Stage 4 clutch
Filled in motor mounts (DIY from KST)
SRT Injector PnP harness
Excelerate dual gauge cluster replacement pod
Vibrant Catback Exhaust (part# 1622)
AEM UEGO Wideband Guage (part# 30-4100)
AEM TRUBOOST boost controller (part# 30-4350)
Hondata 4 bar MAP sensor
BOUGHT
Currently pulling trigger on
(No more buys this year, hopefully :-D )
Current running total on items bought + tune: $8440
faulty knock sensor and labor for mani, dp, turbo replacement +$550
Grand total: $8990
Future buys
Multistage boost controller (boost by gear functionality) most likely TBC-1, unless hondata implements something with flashpro
Wilwood slotted rotors
Russel Stainless Steel Clutch Line
Russel Stainless Steel Brake Lines
Fuel return kit from SRT
possibly bigger wastegate (44mm)
Still researching/Unsure
New calipers (still researching)
bigger injectors (750cc-850cc?)
Gallery from shop: Civic Si sedan turbo build
Dyno of one of the last dyno runs before finished tuning

Parts when I first got them and ripped boxes open in basement

It's a beast, and the vibrant exhaust sounds most excellent.
The BOV makes a nice twittering sound like a bird during normal driving, and during WOT its a nice smooth and quick pssst sound. I have yet to have a cop actually look at me suspiciously. The intercooler is really hard to see, like, I was at 2 meets, with my engine bay open, and most people passed by it thinking there was nothing but a CAI on it. You cant see the IC unless you're bending down and looking straight at it.
Oh yeah... it is WAAAAAY to easy to get to a 100.
VERY SLEEPER.
Kills: Modded EVO VIII (got a thumbs up from him), SRT8 Charger, SRT8 Grand Cherokee, SRT8 Chyrsler 300, new Camaro, LS1 Camaro (exhaust and intake for sure, and I think header)
Thankfully I didnt stall it out of the parking lot when I first got my car back after the install, but I did stall it like 3x within the first 500 miles.
I like the engagement, and I'd have to say probably the best clutch to get without being horribly harsh. After it was broken in, smooth as butter. I would do it again if I had to.

id def consider a water injection system!

They've proven that the mani is innovative and people that knock it just by looks are not willing to look at changes in design. On a built engine, on pump gas, 17.8psi boost, running over 550HP. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fkSMQ...eature=channel
I find it quite innovative ^_^

He's making more HP on less PSI than his last manifold. He hasnt done a Q16 run on the new SRT manifold, but this is what the old one looked like on Q16

I think the numbers speak for themselves. ^_^

Near future:
Fuel return kit
multi-stage boost controller (boost by gear)
bigger turbo probably precision billet sc60 or 6262
tap oil pan
wilwood slotted rotors and calipers
SS brake lines and clutch line
Far future:
New pistons and rods
cams, springs, valve guides/retainers
air-water intercooler?
hmm i woulda done internals first.
well now since you posted that you're gonna do pistons and rods, thats a build.
in my definition of a "build", slapping on a turbo and turbo accessories doesnt count. actually tearing apart the motor for machining and changing of internals is my definition of a build. i consider turbo, turbo accessories, s/c & accessories, just bolt-ons, and so do other people.

Really I don't trust the number in the internet go to the track and put some numbers
good luck and i no say the manifold is bad for make power i only say is ugly
