i have been on Acurazine for awhile now since i got my TL and figured i should check the boards over here. i havent taken any pictures since july or so, so since then i have a few more things than are listed, but wait until spring to get my whole parts list when i have all my parts on the car. well anyways, here are the beginning to about july pictures of my TL

and the first stereo upgrades:

wheels go black and new exhaust and intake:

headlights go black:

On paper I wouldn't think I'd like those mods on a TL, but it looks very good all together!!

It all looks awesome. But why did you put in an aftermarket radio?

And how?

I put the aftermarket headunit in to get better sound quality and to eliminate the crossover fade that the factory system does. As the volume goes up past a certain point, the factory headunit cuts off the high and low frequencies to eliminate any distortion the factory speakers make. Since I replaced the door speakers with Memphis components and amplified them, it would just be annoying to have the tweeters and subwoofer cut out when i crakned up the volume.

I am running H&R Race Springs with Koni SP3 adjustable height and dampning shocks. The stockies are just my winter weels. I will be running some sort of Volks or something 3pc staggered 18s or 19s with a stepped/reverse lip in the spring when all the gravel is off the road.

here are a few of my options for wheels. The spoke will more than likley be flat black with a gloss black lip and body-color-matched white pinstripe around the outer lip:

Custom dual 2 1/2" from the J pipe back to two Magnaflow resonated tips. It's really loud from behind. It's not too bad inside, it's deafening when you accelorate in the city cause it echo's like crazy.

Looks great, I actually like the OEM black wheels a lot! Black roof would set it off!

Calipers look way better in silver, vs. the yellow.

Car looks real good. Grille could have a better paint scheme imo.
