hey everybody just brought the 06 tl yesterday.man i love this car black exterior and tan interior which sucks bc it will probably get dirty fast but o well lol. wanted to get the type s but dealership didnt have 1 needed a car rite away since my teggy is gettin a wire tuck and rebuild. great car overall so far.has anyone have any problems with the 06 tl model

They have a huge TL userbase.

 

no major problems but there are some little ones that can be annoying to downright expensive

1. HFL is not the most reliable thing and can go bad, you will know this when your battery starts dying for no appearant reason

2. Rims are made out of jello and bend easily.....avoid them there potholes like the plague.

3. Leather can wear easily so take good care of it.

 

outer door handle trims fall off all the time, the power rearview mirrors fail quite often, possible open recalls for windshield wiper motor and power steering pump

 

well i have to bring my car to the dealer d5 light went on lol. well i have the 1oo grand warrenty so i cant do to much dont want to mess up the warrenty but i would like to put my hfp 18in on or go with the type s rims,tints 5%, tein suspension.its auto wanted stick didnt have any so lets see wat they tell me with my tranny problem.

 

well i finally got my tl bac they gave me a rebuilt tranny but as soon i got on the highway the d5 lite came bac on and the navi doesnt work

yea dont feel bad my phone is not compatible with my car also.i put some tints all around the car. next day my starter went bad lol jeeze tranny problems and now the starter

 

looks good, class and style with great mpg , cant go wrong.

 

i have sucessfully connected the following phones to the TL's hands free link

Motorola Razr V3t
Samsung Memoir
Nokia N81 8GB

Sometimes you have clear the HFL in order to get them to work properly
Also some phones require remote sim to be enabled as well

yea i needed a car rite away since i am workin on my integra theres hardly any buses and no trains here in fl

 

the tech at courtesy acura suck in fl just to let u guys know. reason 4 my d5 lite coming on was water on the plug and they left me on E wen i left the car it was on half a tank
