Default 97 acura integra

Hey, this is my first post, sorry im a noob. Im thinking about buying a 1997 Integra. The guy who has it says this is what he has done to it.

B18c1 block bored .030 over
Stock Crank polished and balanced
Forged JE pistons, rings etc
Eagle Rods and bearings
Eagle Vtec conversion kit
P72 Gsr head
Stage 2 cams
Adj. cam gears
Megan Racing header and tail pipe

He says he had it on a Dyno and it made 301 hp, i was wanting to know if this would be a good car and if it built with good parts, and can it be boosted?

Thanx in advance,
Kern2011

you cant boost a N/A motor...ask for a dyno chart or take it for a spin...im sure it didnt make 301hp with the stuff you posted..maybe 220 or a little more..you should be burning tires like hell if he made 301whp..plus its a b18c1 why the hell does he need a conversion kit? fake!!!!!

He also says its not running because it needs a new distributor/ it has no spark.

Can you explain more why it can't be boosted.

N/A motors are built purposely for high compression. Turbo setups are meant for low compression...do some research on it and you'll understand. how much is he asking for anyways? i think he's just trying to rip you off since you sound like a NOOB to honda's...no offense in anyway...

Im trading him a Kawasaki 700 V-Force that i got for $2500 and 500 cash. So $3000 don't sound too bad to me but im deff gonna be looking into it more. I haven't seen it yet because he lives 1hour 30min away from me. Im deff not gonna buy it till i hear it run and i drive it.

Thanx for all the help,
Kern2011

What more would the motor need to make that kind of HP?

That engine would be lucky to be making 190 whp. Still not shabby though.
