one side higher than the other after H&R spring install DA9
im sure this has been covered already but i have had no luck finding anything solid right after i installed my H&R race springs my passenger side sits a finger higher than my right it is very noticeable and very irritating to look at i haven't aligned my car yet nor do i have camber kits yet i dont know if this has anything to do with the problem.
any help is appreciated thanks

i had that on my EFsedan when i put my Skunk2 lowering springs. i never really figured it out but maybe your shocks might have something to do with it
OR
you put the rear springs on one side and the fronts on the other. might be causing your akward height

do u have shocks that fit the springs?? i think its mostly cuz of that..if u lower ur car u gotta put shocks on it to..easy but expensive solution is buy adjustable dampeners..so now u can adjust ur passenger side lower
i did not install them incorrectly as far as front and rear go they are far too different in length and spring rate to confuse the 2
the struts are stock
the struts are stock
The weight of the car is not 50/50 left/right, and due to this didn't sit level stock.
Now, after 17+ years (the youngest a DA could be), the chassis probably isn't as straight as it once was, the subframes have probably shifted slightly, and a plethora of other minor changes have happened to the car, and people wonder why it isn't level...
Seriously, its normal, and expected. The only way to correct the height difference is with adjustable spring perches (or spring rubbers on one side, like Nascar does for wedge), and even then, if you level out the car you do so at the expense of handling...
Just ignore it.

i think ill just get some coilovers then lol it rides good tho
i measured everything from top of fender to my shop floor all even except pass rear is 1/2 in higher than driver the rest are the same my battery in the rear wouldnt cause this right? its on the drivers side
it only has 188k on it thats low for a 91 lol

coilovers are helpful for ride height. generally you set the drivers side around 1/8th to 1/4" higher than the passenger to offset weight.

i kinda have a similar problem...but i do have coilovers. The back two heights will be different if they are at the same setting. like if i bottom them out all the way...the left side sits lower. and when i jack the car up, the driver side tire comes off the ground a lot sooner than the passenger side. . don't know if that's normal or if something is screwed up. makes it very difficult to raise the ride height of the car because i have to have someone push down the tire on the driver side so i have enough slack to raise the collar on the coils. dunno if it's normal or if maybe the sway bar is screwed up or somethin. dont mean to thread jack but i thought it has a little bit of relevance.

now that we have that cleared up, the only thing perch sets are good for is a baseline. after that you measure at least off the jacking point and preferably off of 3 points on each corner to make sure your numbers jive. i use the jacking point, fender well and underbody. jack tabs can get bent or welded in slightly off. using 3 points on each corner lets you see the averages and gives you a better idea of what each wheel is getting weight wise.
k. well i figured that wasn't as big a deal. lol. i was more worried about when jacking the car up how the one side the wheel doesn't hang as low as the other side. is that normal? thanks.
