I PMed a few road racing members, did a search and now I needed to post a thread. On my base 5th gen Prelude, the bushing for the LCA to the subframe is completely trashed. The car has 209,XXX miles. Honda only sells the LCA as a complete set with bushings for the trailing arm, strut and subframe bushing. I dug a little deeper and noticed the 4th gen preludes (all models) sell the subframe bushing separately. They use the same bushings (identical part numbers) for the trailing arm and strut. But, the control arms are different part numbers for different generations. I believe it has something do with ABS or wheel sensors. Any if all input is appreciated about a easier way of doing this without replacing the whole control arm. And also to top this off, if any of you prelude owners have a bad knock in the rear. Look into this bushing.
One more option is the Hardrace rubber bushing. It's a higher durometer rubber than what oem uses. They also have a trailing bushing. Specialprojectsms is the north american distributor, ht user Kiwi.
