i did search, and unfortunately i dont have pics but i need to know the name of the hose that connects from the firewall to the dizzy side of the head.

the hose is just to the right of the thermo housing and just to the left of the dizzy.

EDIT: is this the heater core hose? i have the part number for this hose but im not sure if its correct since there is no diagram for the heater hoses.

heater hoses are numbers 24,25 and 26 in the picture below

part numbers:
24 = 79721-SH3-000
25 = 79722-SK7-000
26 = 79725-SH3-010

 

hmm damnit, thats not it. its just a little smaller in diameter than a rad hose. and goes from firewall to head.

 

I believe the hose your talking about is number 24 in the picture because that is the one that goes where you said it was.

 

#26 and #25 are the only water hoses that go to the firewall.
The plug into #27 which goes to the heater core.
#27 should be the same on all EF/ED cars so the diameter of hose should be the same too.

If you don't have any luck, you can always go to an auto parts store and buy some raw tubing.
It won't have all the fancy molded bends, but it should work.


You scare me though... you said this hose is just a little smaller in diameter than the radiator hose.
That's one HUGE heater core fabbed in there!!!

 

it seems to be number 24, the hose has an overall "L" shape to it. and i dont have the car in front of me, im going from memory, the diameter is about an inch or so.

but yea, its a little over a foot long, has an almost 90 degree curve just before it connects to the head.

 

You're correct. 79721-SH3-000 Hose A, Water Inlet. If you go to the dealership it should be under Water Valve/Duct in the component listing.

 

really? on hondaautomovieparts.com the part number is listed, but with no pic. and under everything water related i didnt see the hose. but i forgot, i have a shop manual in .pdf and i found it, simply named "heater hose".

Yeah thats it. Most dealerships will have this image pop up on their system. Number 23 in the diagram.
