i have 5th gen lude "99" with the greddy EVO full catback with the fmax variation at 7psi. do you know if i need to upgrade the exhaust at all? even at 7psi? would i need to custom make a 3 in pipe to a hks muffler or whatnot? thanks for the feed backs

 

i would go with the 3 inch piping if i were you...

 

umm.....no low boost 2.5 is fine do a search ull find ure results i accually made a topic like this a while ago "search my son"

2 1/2 inch is fine in any case 3" flows good but is loud loud loud and scrape scrape scrape

 

I would only recomnad 3in down pipe if you are using a t4 or up! Most t3/t4 the exhaust opening are only for 2 1/2 inch downpipes.

All you need is 2.5 inch. Your not gonna gain much more top end with 3 Inch and your gonna lose a little bit down low power.

I would only recommend 3 Inch for those running high boost.
