throttle body spacer?????
so ive been going on different kinds of websites and ive been looking at these throttle body spacers and they say that theres a gain of 4.5 horses to the wheels...so i was wondering if any of you guys have installed these in your cars and actually have felt a difference???
i would say 4.5 hp gain for just a TB spacer is bull. by itself, it wont do a whole, 1 maybe 2 hp. but, when you combine it with other mods (such as intake, thermal gaskets, intake manifold, header, exhaust) it all adds up and they benefit each other. thats my .02
this.
4.5 horses is completely over-advertised. I'd say delete the 4, and that's what you're really gonna be looking at. Now, to put into perspective the light amount of work to actually install a TB spacer and the effectiveness of the part, it's still not even worth installing one if you got it for free.
If you search this site and 8th...or any car enthusiast forum outside of your brand, people commonly believe (backed by testing) that a throttle body spacer is a waste of money. That goes double for those Tornado Air things you put in your intake. No workie workie.
