So i have an 89 crx dx and recently got in an accident with it. I need to get a new passenger fender, bumper, and bumper support. I'm having a really hard time finding the bumper support for an 88-89. All the ones i find are for a 90-91. i'm looking at buying a 1990 crx si just as a parts car, but i need to know what all has to be done to get that bumper to work. I've been told i just need to switch my 89 bumper support with the 90-91 support. Is this true? what would i need to do to get the 90 si bumper onto my 89 dx? thanks.

 

supports fit the only thing is that fenders bolt up but the corner lights clips are different although they can interchnaged

 

my bad, i for some reason i thought you have a HB. yes all you need is the bumper support, front bumper, new molding all the way around and rear bumper. and your good to go, also get new bumper lights, to finish it off i would get the stock lip as well.

 

I think he wants to use both the front and rear bumper off the 1990 crx. The fenders, hood and the side moldings too. Basically replacing all the body parts

updated my previous answer, i thought you had a hatchback.

 

oh, and there is no such thing as a 90-91 si specific bumper. all 90-91 crx's have the same exact bumpers.
