I have a water leak coming from the rear of the block of my Accord. It looks like some kind of plug, but I think that it may be threaded. The location of the leak is on the back side of the engine on the drivers side about mid way up the block and maybe 4 inches or so from the edge of the block. It seems to only leak (or leak more) when the engine is off.

Any ideas?

 

sounds like the coolant drain plug for the block. can you get a pic of it? also is it close to the oil filter?

 

^^ yeah, the coolant drain plug is more towards the middle near the oil filter like you said.

Can be the o-ring for the water pipe that goes into the water pump if there is one; otherwise, it can be the water pump itself.

 

water leak? you betta get that accord to the hospital quick!! Its gonna have a Fit!!!!
