You will have to change the hubs to either DX hubs or DA Integra hubs. EX hubs work too but are very difficult to find...

if you want to make life easy just do the whole spindle. and if you get complete integra spindles you get bigger brakes. the hf is the fuel economy so it has smaller axles and hubs to lighten the drive train down and gets better mpg. you can use any integra spindles 90-2001. I'm not sure but I think the hf is the only civic with the smaller hubs. I know it's the only ef but not sure about eg's or ek's.

would the hubs off of a 1989 Si work for the HF? I'm looking to do the same swap. and I just want to have everything in advance.

Swap to DX/Si/DA spindles/hubs, use a 90-93 Integra rear t-bracket, 90-93 Integra 1/2 shaft, and 90-93 Integra axles, and you're done. I just did an LS swap into my 91 STD hatch, so I went with the DA spindles/brakes. Just make sure to get an alignment afterwards as the DA steering arm is SLIGHTLY shorter and will cause your toe to go out. The DA spindle is also SLIGHTLY taller, so your caster/camber MIGHT go off a LITTLE bit, but not enough to screw anything up majorly. Good luck!

I use a 91 b16 tranny it workes fine. whatever the year the tranny is, that decides the axles u can use. so if u have a newere tranny the axle will not fit on ur 91 hubs.i believe

^^^^you can use what ever year axles you want as long as you use the co-existing axle seal and intermediate shaft. if you have a certain set of axles laying around it is much cheaper to just buy a 11 dollar seal then try to find a different mid shaft and driver shaft. the passenger shaft is the same for all b-series 88-00 civic and 90-01 integra. except for that some have the abs ring on them which doesn't matter unless you have an abs equipt car and then you need that ring on there.
