Quality tube transitions
Were looking for some sort length 3" to 4" tube transitions for a project, and all the ones ive found have been pretty long and were working with some pretty tight packaging. Wondering if anyone has machined one and included the V band?
Yeah, had the machinist whip this up for me...

Not cheap, since we had to get solid stock.
It could have been made shorter obviously, but this worked for the room we had. It's almost exactly 2" long.

Depending what your application is and how thick the tube is, you might be able to make one yourself. Set a piece of tube 3-5" long on a hydraulic press and use a welding bottle cap on the ram to flare it out, you can get up to about 4" using this method. Be sure to lube the bottle top and make sure it's sitting straight and the tube is cut square or it'll go off to one side.
