Icon2 Heating Question

on my 91 hatch the temp gauge doesnt raise up any while driving it stays cold all the time and the other day it suddenly raised up to hot and i filled the radiator with 50/50 and its still stays on cold but then the heat wasnt blowing hot anymore and i parked it for the night and there was a puddle of antifreeze under the car right under the front bumber so i know it was either the cap or the bottom hose but what would be causeing this problem? would it be the thermostat? or something else? oh and its an automatic radiator and its a full size one the motor is a b16a shouldnt it be the half size radiator?

check the hoses and make sure they are hooked good and clamped. If it aint blowing heat then its the thermostat. or maybe it can just be that the radiator is defective. Also make sure the fan is working...

both hoses are on there good and tight, it blows heat now since like some of the antifreeze leaked out and the fan works it comes on when the key is on
