Vertical Band Saw

Any recomendations on an affordable (<$1000) vertical band saw?

do-all 14" need I say more? , you live in the former manufacturing capitol of the world, buying chi-cheez stuff would be a mistake.

you should be able to find a used roll in type for under that price. mine was $100. just look up some local auctions.

i just bought a brand new wilton vertical 14 inch band saw for 1000$it was a floor model so i talked them down a 100 bucks.its a pretty nice saw.has all the speed adjustments.two speed clutch.

i worked in a shop that had a horizontal do all.nice big saw worked well.i have never seen a do all vertical saw.now if i had several thousand to spend on one i would buy a dake.

Doall 16's are pretty common and well worth the money. Even if its 30 years old.
