Audi S4 handling vs. Prelude Type SH
My friend and I were having an argument about which car handles better. Now I know the S4 would beat a Prelude SH in a straight line for sure...14.3 1/4 mile compared to a 15.3. But I dunno if the S4 handles better. I said that the SH should be able to handle better. Anyone know the answer to this?

I read somewhere else, I think in the kill stories that a 1995 VTEC relatively stock was pulling better times on a road course than an S4 with 2 different drives. So I am sure a similarly equipped SH should do much better than the '95

however, I would agree and guess that the type SH would handle better then the S4.

Handling is a subjective issue. Both are cars designed with sporty intentions. So both make compromises to comfort to ensure better handling. However, asking which one handles better is like asking which one looks better...

Handling to me = overall grip, which = tires.. I could care less how much the car pitches, yaws and sways, if it can take the corner faster, it handles better...
But yes, handling to most people is suggestive, its like asking which color looks best...

look at D stock finishings, and look at the tires they were on. This was a car competing in the stock category, so his mods were very limited, by the scca rules. He states k&n filter, thermal exhaust, bosch plugs, and kuhmo v-700 tires. The s4 has more power, awd, and stickier tires. Not to shabby.
