Default Need Help: ITR LSD into B16 tranny...

I've been reading on transmission building and such. I have recently purchased a type r lsd that I was told has a gsr final drive but the guy said it is for sure a type r lsd. I have a b16 hydro trans and I'm wanting to put this lsd in it. I have a spare hydro gsr trans for parts so i'm going to use the 5th gear set out of the gsr for a longer 5th gear rpm while i'm on the freeway. I need to know:
1.) will I be able to just replace my open dif. with this type r w gsr final as I believe the b16 and gsr final drives are the same...?
2.) i'll simply have to replace my b16 5th gear set with my gsr 5th gear set correct? Or will I need to use the gsr countershaft as well....
*Please don't chime in and say "well why don't you get an ls 5th its longer and better for highway"
*So if you can't positively help with these questions please try and keep the bs out of this thread. Below is a pic of the lsd as is how I intend to install it.

You need to use the GSR ring gear and countershaft to put the LSD in, and for 5th you only change out the gears themselves.

Ok, that's what I initially thought but I wasn't sure for a fact which is why I wanted to post on here and get some extra direction before I went along and did it. The gear is a drop in and i'll just swap the countershaft and the ring gear is already from a gsr so I shouldn't have to do anything to the lsd except install it. Thanks and anyone that has any links to a really in depth and correct way to replace syncros or whatnot other than the link i've posted below feel free to post:

Use the matching ring gear for the countershaft. Doesn't matter if its the same ratio or not, gear SET.

Yes gear "set", lol...So you would suggest I use the ring gear from the transmission I'm using the countershaft from? That makes sense. I will do and hopefully I can get some pic's and such as I feel a lot of people are too nervous to open a tranny and from what i've gathered its no harder than building your motor.lol

Yes, keep the ring gear and countershaft together.
