i have a pair of si seats but there torn from the side 100$

 

Are they 88-89? Do they come with rails? Can you send pics to (909)996-0702?

 

88 seats / 89 seats are different.... just an FYI. I had 88 seats and no way they were going in my 89 with out custom rails.

 

Thanks for the info I didn't know that! Always thought 88-89 were the same

 

If you have your original seat pan/rail, you can swap it out with the 90-91 but it has to be a CRX seat...

 

yeah the bolts don't line up and then you cant swap the rails because the seat belts mount on the 89's. It was a shame to the 88 seats i had were pristine . Good luck though, I ended up getting a re upholstered set off of here... really hard to find un torn seats now a days.

 

LOL I'm so ghetto I have 2 passenger side Si seat in my 89 CRX HF but they have no tear...

 

Yeah I found this cat on criegslist out of Anahaim that charged me $70 plus my old beat si seats for some of the cleanest set of 88 crx si seats I have ever laid eyes on I tried to call his old # I still had but no one ever answers!!! Sucks should have bought an extra set!!

thats the guy i went through....... almost drove 4hrs for nothing but in the end things worked out.... took 8hrs of sitting in LA and 8hrs of driving but got it done lol.

He has threads posted up I believe, he changes his user name often.

PS those 88 seats were probably the ones i traded him for my 89's if they are stock fabric.

OP if you want I can try to track this guy down? The seats arent the BEST but they dont look cheap and are a hell of a lot better than a torn set.

 

I bielive the seats were 89! He had to change my rails onto his seats and yes they were og cloth! If you could get a hold of this guy that would be the ****!!!

thread for the guy i got my seats from... Sucks that I couldnt get those OEM ones. The reupolstered seats are alright like i said. WAYYYY better than the ones I had ripped to hell but hopefully i can get some Recaros or something in the near future.
