my "Authentic VIS Racing Spoon Style Duckbill Wing - 100% Guaranteed" (from their listing online, they're not a HT vendor) came today. I'm questioning if it's really VIS or not, can anyone with a known eg VIS duckbill help me out?






why is this rectangle cut out? both sides have the cut out.


not threaded - just a hole. wont be visible when mounted, but still.









what do you guys think? the weave on it is pretty decent, but im doubting it being VIS as it was explicitly advertised as.

 

every vis product i have ever owned has a had a vis plate somewhere on it,my vis wing had it so when it was mounted u couldnt see it but its been awhile since i had it

and i forgot to mention i will be calling the company i bought it through as soon as they open up on monday morning.

I bought my VIS spoon style wing brand new from the website a couple years back for my old EK hatch. It had no plate on it, the fitment was horrible and the whole thing felt really flimsy (as if it i could push down on it and it would break). I knew mine was real- i bought it directly from them, other than the receipt and original packaging, i had no means of proving it was real. ask the seller if he has receipt and original box would probably be the only way to tell.
