91 Accord 60k
I just got my grandmother's car from Colorado. My dad has been driving this car for about a month when it began having issues. First the distributor went out had that replaced. Then the car would just died while driving down the street.
I found out the fuel pump was not turning on and to verify this I disconnected the lines from the fuel filter to see if any fuel was getting through but there was not. I work for American Honda and looked up the helms manual and found out that the main relay or fuel pump can be the caused. I check the wires to the fuel pump for voltage and there were so I changed the pump but still no fuel. So dropped the gas tank and changed the pump. I tried starting and still no fuel. I just tried changing the main relay with a brand new Mitsuba OEM part but still no fuel. I'm kind of at a dead end on what to do. BTW I check for spark and der is and I have triple check all the fuses and ground wire. Can anyone pls help!

1. Do you know if the fuel pump actually runs?
2. If fuel pump runs, when you disconnected the fuel line at the fuel filter, are you checking for flow before the filter or after?
If it is before the fuel filter, then it could possibly be a clogged fuel line. If it is after the fuel filter, then it could be a clogged fuel line and/or fuel filter.

^^ Yup that too.
A friend of mine that I have in class said that air can cause it to clogg which won't go pass that point if there's an air bubble in the fuel line. Its my first time hearing that but he said that they cracked the line open and air bubble came out, so after that the car finally fired up.

ya the pump is brand new and i tested it if turns on before installing. and i disconnected the fuel line before the filter. i've read in other forums that it might be the ECU. I really dont know the service history of this car but my grandma said she gets the car service at the dealership. Thanks for the advise
