Im getting ready to start rebuilding my 91 hatch. and been thinking id like to paint it a green to silver paint. i looked at hok paint chips but their silver to green looks more along the lines of silver to blue to me. just wondering if anyone knows a good green to silver color?

 

Did you see the physical color chip? Or was is a picture? Reason I ask, is because the kandy colors, and the kameleon colors are decieving in pictures. Also, the kameleon paint, just as all other HOK paints, go on top of another color. So you might have been looking at a color chip that had black behind it or something. You have to look at the top of the column of the color chips, its says something like "over BC25 black base" That's going to make it darker.

You might be able to try Alsa, i really like them, they have some cool color changing paints. Alsapaint.com

 

i just got on hok website and looked at their paint chips. off their website im leaning more towards the silver to gold tho. i found a pic of it on a suby and it looks good to me. ya i beleive it said the chips where sprayed over black.
