Gsr Valve float problem Long ramble 8k rev
I have a 81.5 oversized p72 piston B18c1 Gsr motor with a b16 tranny
The motor is stock except for the small bore but i'm still using stock p72 oversized pistons.
Other mods
Msd Distributor [Could this be the problem?]
Greddy headers
Competition stg 4 clutch and flywheel
Chipped p28 by phereable.net.
The first time i took it out to the track, i made two passes Revving to 8k.
On the first pass the car ran it fine, on the second one it floated.
4 valves on Cylinder; #2 on the exhaust and the Intake side.
SO then i bought the valves, Had the machine shop install them,
Replaced the gaskets, Did a minor tuneup, Adjusted the valves,
And put the head back on.
I daily drove it for a week straight and everything was fine.
So then i went to the track and it floated two valves on the exhaust side this time on cylinder #3 and #4.
We then redid the valves once again and this time installed some ITR dual valve springs on the Exhaust side hoping this would eliminate the problem.
We went to the track once again and it did it again on the 4th pass this time But it only did it on Cylinder #3 this time.
Now i'm fresh out of ideas, we checked if the pulleys had any play to them and they all seem fine. Can anybody give me any advice on to what it may be? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking and sorry for the long ramble.

Are you using stock cams or aftermarket??? Are u sure that chipped ecu doesn't have a higher rev limit then the stock 8200?? I have a JDM b18c GSR motor with Stage 1 Comp Cams in it. And I beat the **** outta my car and sometime bounce of the limiter, with no issues.
If you have stock cams and the correct rev limiter, are you sure ur mechanical timing is
correct?

Well we compared the cams to stock ones and there exactly the same.
The Ecu has a higher rev limiter but i shift at 8k.
I have had other Gsr swaps and revved them past 8k with no problem
But for some reason This one keeps giving out at 8K lol, im not sure what it could be?
