i purchased a t25 garrett of a 240sx for my build, i already have a b series xs power turbo manifold to used with dsm turbos, the flange of the t25 don't fit the the manifold and they make an adapter plate to use the t25 with that manifold. my question is has anyone here used a t25 garret turbo off a nissan and what custom work needs to be done in order to work properly. i know i have to custom made a downpipe, but my main issue is the manifold and how good the adapter plates work. any info greatly appreciated.

 

get the adapter plate for your manifold... those manifolds crack a lot... just so you know..

what motor are you putting this on?

 

that doesnt look like the standard t25 inlet. are you sure its an oem nissan turbo? regular garrett t25 inlets are a perfect rectangle

 

yeah, thats what i heard those manifold have a tendecy of cracking, mine is reinforce by the guy that i bought it from. hopefully it will last long enough for me to get the car running for a little while and eventually im going to upgrade over the summer. its going on a Gsr motor

 

the guy that i bought the turbo told me it was off a nissan i havent confirmed that for sure. the stamp on the cold side says m24, thats about it.
