SOLD Lucky guy as he just got himself hella of deal

I got a JDM 1996 ITR trans with an OBX LSD in a trade. I DO NOT KNOW the condition of the trans as I have not installed it but was told that it was still in good condition so it is SOLD AS IS. When turning the outer shaft, there is no play and it turns smooth. Also, the shifter shifts smooth as well. It will come with the clutch release bearing/release fork/vss sensor/reverse signal/ITR top mount. ITR trans goes for around 750-1000 but Im selling this for $450 picked up or 500 shipped as conditions are unknown. Again, no guarantee's and sold as is. I will get pix up asap

EDIT: Price edit $550 picked up or $600 shipped since its a kaaz and not an obx.

well, i decided to take it apart to make sure that things were good. turns out that things were great.

the syncro's looked great, counted the teeths and its an itr. but the best thing was that the LSD is NOT an OBX but a KAAZ in great shape too. The clutch plates looks good and everything looks to be intact. guess the previous owner didnt know what was in there either and assumed it was an OBX.

WHY WOULD SOMEONE PULL OUT A STOCK ITR LSD WHEN ITS A 1000 x BETTER THEN OBX ???? FAIL

like i said, got it in a trade, hence the price. again, was told it was in good condition.

 

IDK you seem like you know its jacked up but you just don't want to actually say it. Whoever buys this, please give us some feedback.

 

i dont actually. im just afraid that the obx lsd is bad as ive seen lots of reviews of it being a hit or miss. im an honest seller and i if knew that there was something wrong, i will be up front but i do not know at this point as i have not installed it and just have the word of the previous owner.

well, if it doesnt sell in the next few days, then ill install it in a friends car in a few weeks and if everything checks out then itll be up for sale at market price

still a pretty good deal as a stock itr trans goes for more then that and a kaaz lsd goes more then that. again, no gunrantees as i have not ran the trans yet.

Just a question, if someone buys it and it's crap for say, are you willing to take it back? Grinds, problems etc.?

 

no guarantee's. i would do one if the price was over 1200.

Ok that's risking a lot. I realize the price is realistic but not if it's a crap tranny. Anyways GLWS. If you are unsure you should back that up with gurantee. Waste of your customers time and effort as well as yours. Again good luck with sale. Sounds like you know something is up with tranny.

 

i honestly dont. hell, i was surprise as hell when i found out it was a kaaz and not an obx like i was told. well, guess ill keep bumping it til it sells or when it warms up and i find a chasis to install then ill bump the price back up to where it should be whichever comes first.
