Ok here is the deal, 91 crx si, 98 y8 motor with ~38k miles on it. Blown90Hatch, all connections are soldered and heat shrink wrapped. Running off a p28 ecu.

Every once in a while I will hop in my car and try to start the car, the starter will turn over and the motor will turn over but will not fire. If i tap the gas it will fire once and then nothing....... This usually happens when I am leaving for work so i dont have time to yank a plug wire and check for spark/fuel etc........ I get home from work about 9-10 hrs later and hop in and she fires right away.

I just replaced the plugs/wires/dist cap/rotor so we will see if that could be a problem.

It seems like the problem only happens when its really hot in the middle of the day ~4pm.

Could something be getting too hot and not wanting to start, with the humidity, it has been over 100 on any given day the past few weeks. ????
