Hey everyone,

Which color do you prefer? I'm thinking about getting my car painted white eventually just so it doesn't get so hot in the summer and dirt doesn't show up so easily. It's gonna have to be repainted eventually because the paint is starting to chip/fade in places and such.

What color would you choose and why?

 

are you serious? white will show every spec of dirt possible....

if you want to hide dirt, go silver/beige......

 

I heard its better than black. I like both white and black just because I think they look simple and clean

 

every color can be "clean". as far as simple, that a matter of opinion.

dirt will show up on both just as much as the other. the reason is your going to 2 different sides of a spectrum. White is all colors and black is lack of color. Both are extreme. when you get into silver and beige, they aren't extreme, so they are softer, and hide dirt better.

but, if white and black is all you want to go with, go white, just because there are a bazillion black honda's (at least where im at) and barely any colored ones. last time i went to a meet i think there was only like 3 white honda's out of like 300 or so cars?

so yeah.

 

White will show everything.

I'd just keep it black. It would be a lot easier and look just as clean.

I'm gonna paint mine 123khaki. Its the much older beige BEFORE the "champagne beige" that was widely used. I cant wait to do it, just waiting for money lolz.

 

ha that's cool. To me a lowered white civic would just look bomb

 

Flamenco black pearl

 

dude definitely go with a peark white, i used to have a pearl white ej1 and i loved how it looked it was dropped on black wheels, black is overdone and boring

 

Totally how i feel bro! Sometimes white looks boring and ugly, but on a dropped white civic with some nice rims, it looks amazing. It would also help during the summer with temps since I did an a/c delete on my car (my compressor was messed up anyways).

 

I'm partial to black, but I'm the one who rattle cans everything with $3 a can spraypaint. Black is simple and blends in with all the other black cars.

 

WHITE! waaay cleaner

 

White won't fade nearly as quickly as most other colors. I have original frost white on my hatch and it looks amazing. We bought a black CRV but now I really wish we'd bought the white one. :/

Frost White GSR = drool

 

white cuz its a cleaner color and more noticeable than black. champion ship white or taffeta white, id say taffeta white cuz its more cleaner and brighter than champion white

 

white shows everything.....but i think white is the cleanest for all cars. CHAMP WHITE FTW

 

paint shop told me white hides impefections better,, dont know if its true or not becuase im not a painter

 

White shows alot but black shows every single imperfection. I have owned black and white cars and if it comes down to what shows more, black does. Champ White is my recomendtion.

 

black does show dirt and imperfections really bad, but all the more reason to get half naked women to wash your car more often...wait, no, that money could be spent on parts.
