quick questions guys...

1. the lips for EP civics, front and rear, do they all fit the same?

2. will the type r lips for 02-03 civics fit the 04-05 civics? and vice versa? and the hfp lip kit?

3. side skirts all fit the same right? the hfp and type r side skirts..

4. basically are the lip kits for 02-03 civic si the same as the ones for the 04-05 civic si?

i have an 02 civic si and for the front i was wanting either the 04-05 civic type r lip or the hfp lip.. for the rear i wanted the type r lip. and i want type r side skirts.

 

Okay...... Since all usdm bumpers from 02-05 are the same, all usdm spec lips will fit usdm ep3s.

There is a type are replica kit (pre-face lift type r version) that will fit usdm bumpers.

In order to run authentic jdm/edm type-r front or rear lips, you need jdm/edm front and rear bumpers.

HFP and type-r side skirts are different

Basically since you have a usdm civic si, you cannot use any authentic jdm/edm lips, except for the type-r sideskirts, which will fit fine.

Anything replica, hfp, or anything that isnt for a authentic type-r, they should fit your ep3.

haha. thanks for the help. i didn't know for sure if there was a difference between the u.s. and jdm bumpers, besides the orange markers under the headlights..

oh and thanks for clearing up the thing about all u.s. 02-05 bumpers being the same. that helps

 

 

fyi...If you choose to run type-r ft &r bumpers....remember the steel beam under all the plastic is different....most people just run with out them...but if you decide to get in a accedent, you be toast.....you can buy the jdm front sub bumper but you have to get the usdm rear bumper modded to run the rear...speedstar does this for a fee if ytou must have them.
