stock d16 block from the 90 Si, with a z6 head...

if i did this, what would i need to do?

well, i know what its called, but im wondering if i have to do anything special, like tap any holes or something crazy.. im just now getting into d series..

google man, this is something you really want to research. Information on the net is easy to come by. i just googled the search terms "d16a6 d16z6 head mini me" and found several pages of good results.......

 

i already read about it using the same method while i was waiting..

i google alot of stuff... just felt like asking.. no harm in that.. i wasnt asking for a full write up, just a few specific things, though..

They are probably the most straight forward type of "swap" to do other than a direct replacement.
