Default Custom oil cooler cores

Anyone have a good place to get air to oil cooler cores? Im trying to make something on the lines of a bar and plate intercooler but for oil and ps. I need to use a little core to fit in the location Bell has some 2.5x4.5x6" for 130$ Any other options?

if all else fails, hit the scrap yards for transmission coolers. we have a one on a 34 ford coupe hotrod that is 2 x 5.5 x 6 that we just found laying around at our junkyard. that is unless you stuck on the bar and plate "intercooler" style core.

Yeah i mean we can find cores all over but ones using bar and plate work much better for intergrating a fan shroud on them.

some cars are coming with some pretty nice aluminum heater cores. Might look in that direction. Go to a good autoparts store and ask them if they'll let you look thru their stock.

Trans cooler loops don't normally have a lot of pressure.
