I been looking all over the place for this part but no one seems to have it.
I'm curious about how many people do and do not have this part so please let me know if you do or don't and does anyone know of a website where I can get it?Thanks.

 

+1 I dont have it on mines but I think I would need one.

 

Flywheel cover? I know many people not running one with no problems, but i guess it would be safer to have one.

 

especially if your dding.

if not you can literally see your flywheel spinning if you look under the car

I'd run one if I were you. You could probably bang one up out of one of your mom's cookie sheets if you have to...

 

i have one, i didn't have it on there when i pulled my motor, but i will be installing it when i put it back in there

I doubt it'll be any cheaper at the dealer. They usually inclde shipping in their price and then some.

i have one for a d series sitting around

 

ive had numerous cars and always throw them in the trash even my daily drivers its just a useless part to get in the way when working on the vehicle ive never had any problems with anything getting in there if it was a 4x4 mud truck then id put one on but they do come there from the factory

 

never had a problem running one without, on mydd didnt have one
but id assume it wouldnt be good, dirt and rocks and such

 

I am not running one on my DD. Thats not to say it wouldn't be safer running one but so far I haven't had any problems.

 

My d-series has one but I just swapped in a b16 and it didn't come with it. I've been looking everywhere for one with no luck. I was wondering if the one off of my d16 would fit on the b16. Everyone tells me I'm fine without it but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Looks like I'll be calling the dealer to see what price they'll give me.

 

I am reading through this thread and seeing people whi have been looking "everywhere" for one? are you kidding? Why is it so hard to go down to the local Honda/Acura dealer

You could go around running without the cover, but it's not the greatest idea, why do you think Honda put it on there in the 1st place?

 

Lol, by "everywhere" I meant everywhere but the dealership . I guess I have no choice though.

How's your SI coming along Deetz, I was really psyched for updates after you posted pics of the motor on the stand but somehow the thread just kinda disappeared. Not very often you see a good VSM build.
