Honda Accord ODB2 motor to ODB1 car
Waz up my fellow Honda Guys i am about to by a 1994 honda accord with a blown motor and i was going to put my motor in it but i am new to the whole odb1 thing so how hard would it be to put my 1996 vtec motor into a non vtec body and what all do i need to change out i know i need to change out the o2,dizzy,all sensors but what else and how long do you think it would take thanks for all your help
I'll start off by suggesting just to convert it to OBD-1. However, I realize that this isn't always an option in some states that still keep their worthless emissions programs.
You'll need an ECU thats compatable with the OBDII engine and proper wiring (just search google or honda-tech, theres a ton of info).
A time table all depends on your experience and wiring skills. Could be measured in hours or days. Good luck though!
