Default Heater will not work

so ive been tryin to fix my heater for a good 2 weeks now, yes ive read the FAQ and yes ive tried most of the things on there, and yes most of the stuff works like the blowers etc etc, but no heat. the valve from the fire wall opens and closes, ive even pulled the hoses and blew high air pressure through to see if its clogged, and checked the fuse. the lever inside under the dash that connects to the fire wall seems to open, the blower blows air but its cold. any ideas. im freaking stuck. thanks

I'm guessing your cables are misaligned. Since you know your blower is working there are only two other things that need to work to get heat.

1. There is a cable from the blend control **** to the heater valve on the firewall in the engine bay. This allows hot coolant to flow from the engine into the heater core inside the passenger compartment.

Have someone move the blend control **** while you watch the heater valve. Does it move back and forth?

Disconnect the cable from the heater valve and manually move it to fully open. Any change?

With the heater valve still disconnected from the cable move the blend control **** to dead stop hot. Any change? Can you now move the **** further than before?

2. There is a second cable from the blend control **** to a door that deflects air to either go through the heater core or bypass it. But to get to this you'll have to start removing stuff under the dash. It's pretty easy but only if you don't have AC. First try the stuff above and post back here...

EDIT - The coolant system has been bled right?
