98 Civic CX hatch 5spd
98 civic CX, silver, 5spd, Ac, HX wheels, good tires, 99-00 climate conversion, 2way VIPER paging alarm, black interior, stock motor with 230k (freeway miles), runs smooth, 37 mpg combined.

I did those. The trick is not using black paint, but using a tinting spray-paint.
So every coat you put on the silver plastic gets a little bit darker and darker. I did I think 4-5 coats, so the end result is not a completely uniform color but like a chromed out, smoked look.
