Can i use a d15b non v-vtec shortblock, and put my d16y8 head on that shortblock? i have a 99 civic ex and one of the cylinders has low compression and i found a good deal on a d15b shortblock just wondering if it would work

 

yea its is possible.... its called a "mini-me" build. search it here on the forum and you will get tons of info.
