I have had this car a little over 2 months now and wanted to get some opinions on it. I don't mind negative opinons.

When I got it, it had a blown motor and the whole car looked like it was never cleaned inside and out and very poorly maintained. Since I got it I have replaced the motor with a low mile Y8, put "CTR" head lights and grill in it, put in some HIDs, lowered it, threw some SI wheels on it, put LS Integra seats in, and replaced the rotted exhaust system with stock SI exhaust. It is currently an auto until tomorrow I have everything I need for the auto to manual conversion. Let me know what you think.

I plan on putting a Type R lip on it but i'm up in the air about painting it to match the car or painting it black. I think it might be to much black on the car. What do you guys think?

 

i whouldnt swap it over tell i had enuf cash for a b swap buts thats just me. love the car looks very clean good choice of rims and very tastefully modded

 

Thank you, I do plan on doing a B swap. Im trying to find a hydro B trans right now. I have a few LS motors laying around and a built GSR head with all the LSV parts and goodies. I have everything to completely build a monster LSV. Just unsure weather to go LSV or boosted LS. I just want to get all the hydrolic lines and peddals and stuff in at this point so when I find a trans I can just drop the B swap in.

 

Paint it all to match the car... IMHO I think it looks awful not painted like the rest of the car... But that's just coming from a guy that is a body man for side jobs. Looks good so far though, just paint that grill and get a painted lip. Voting for interior shots... Maybe some before and afters too?

 

I doubt i'll be posting interior shots any time soon. The carpet in the car is embarrising its stained horribly. I think when I get the lip kit, I will end up painting it to match the car along with the grill.

 

I have a black mugen front lip and a black rear lip, and I think it flows rather nicely.

i would get an apexi muffler, i dont particularly care for the si rims, the only oem rims i rly like are the hx's, but overall looks clean, nice job!, you can pull the seats out and dye the carpet, or just replace it, i think its like 200 bucks for oem or you can piece together something custom with other types of carpet. a buddy of mine put black carpet in his hatch, i forget if he finished it or not lol

Thank you, I just had to use the OEM harness.

 

Do they leak at all?

 

Surprisingly no. They're the Depo ones which are the same as my headlights, and both of them have great quality. The only thing with the tail lights is that you have to use the harness from the stocks. But other than that the fitment was good, no leaks, and no fading.

 

no leaks haha, thats always good! mine headlights leak.. never buy **** from friends..

 

Thanks for your input, i'm going to look ino them. That style tails look so much better on our cars and people always want a million bucks for Stanley tails.

They were definitely worth the $90, make the car look 10x better.

 

Si replica??? um, every 99 00 civic had the same tail lights, theres no Si specific tail lights. and they flow really well with your car because of those factory unpainted side skirts...but to each his own i guess.

 

^ Yes I realize that but most people just call them Si's. They're replica's because if you go on eBay you'll find 923857 that look just like the 99-00, but they aren't.

OP again, definitely paint that **** yo! it'll look clean as hell... you could also check into getting a 99 00 front...or i guess some people may call that an "Si conversion"
