Help noise when turning, starting and stopping!!!
it doesnt do it all the time but lately more and more... i cant explain the noise but it sounded to me like a motor mount, but the motor doesnt move at all. anyway when you turn it will make it and sometimes when you brake, and when you start driving, it doesnt do it when your driving though. anytying will help.
car is a 99ex everythings pretty much stock
ps its sounds like its coming from behind the motor somewhere or the pass front. thanks

So i just replaced the tie rod and the noise is still there, anyone know what it could be? its def. coming from around the wheel on the pass side. it kind of sounds like rubber bushings
i sprayed some wd40 on some rubber bushings on the part that moves up and down by the spring (cant remember the name) and so far it seemed to be that so i dont know if thats all it needed or what...
I currently have the same problem execpt when in rains, the WD 40 gets washed off and the sqeaking returns ( also noise is much louder when its cold). im almost positive its the bushings on the drivers side but not sure which ones, any ideas?
ya it seems to do it more when its cold, i think mines coming from the upper control arm passanger side. If i just replace the bushings do you think that would fix it?

God I hope lol, but id research which bushings you replace them with. From what I’ve read there’s a lot of controversy over which ones last longer and/or squeak. I read a forum about the energy suspension bushings:

From what I've heard in the past, they really do help with the suspension. makes it a little stiffer, and they actually last longer. The only thing that I heard as a drawback is the fact that you get more suspension squeak. (read: you hear squeak while driving). of course, you can overcome that with a good stereo
I still haven’t decided which to replace them with; I really don’t want to take everything apart every few months to lube them. If anyone else has some ideas lemme know.
